Limited Warranty

At Raíz Alpaca, we pride ourselves in our commitment to crafting durable, high-quality alpaca textiles. Each product is made with exceptional care with the finest natural materials to ensure lasting performance and satisfaction. As part of our commitment, we offer a Limited Warranty, in the unusual case your alpaca textiles require further attention. Should any issues arise, our Raiz Concierge team will handle all warranty inquiries to ensure your experience with all your Raiz Alpaca textiles meets our level of standards in all aspects.

LIMITED WARRANTY

This Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) is provided by Raiz Alpaca for its alpaca textiles (the “Product”) and applies only to Products purchased directly from Raiz Alpaca or an authorized retailer. By purchasing the Product, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Warranty.

WARRANTY COVERAGE

Raiz Alpaca warrants that its alpaca home textiles will be free from material defects in workmanship and materials under normal residential use. Raíz Alpaca will repair or provide a reasonably equivalent textile as a replacement in the case of any unusual product defects upon receiving your product. All item defects must be presented and reported within 7 days of confirmed delivery. In the case of replacement, Raíz Alpaca cannot guarantee that you will receive exactly the same piece. If your piece is no longer available, a comparable piece of equal value and similar style will be substituted.

No cash refund is available and in no case shall Raíz Alpaca be liable for more than the purchase price of the textiles or for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to your state. Proof of purchase is required to exchange merchandise or receive warranty service. If any item is repaired or replaced under this Limited Warranty, it will be covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period. 

This Warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase is required to validate any claim.

EXCLUSIONS

Limited Warranty does not cover damage due to normal wear and tear, accidents, misuse, natural disasters, or improper care and storage. Please refer to the Raíz Alpaca Care Guide for details on how to properly care for your products. Our collections are as unique as the artisan who handcrafted them. The meticulous attention to detail is a reminder that our artisans created something completely authentic and "one-of-a-kind" like. Our products consist of a natural fibres including 100% alpaca and highland wool, these natural materials showcase beautiful, organic variations, irregular weights and sizes, sporadic oxidations, color fluctuations caused by sun exposure, etc. These are normal characteristics that will not affect the performance of your piece and are not considered quality defects. 

WARRANTY DEFINITION

This Raíz Alpaca Limited Warranty is non-transferrable and applies to all textiles that are used in a residential (non-commercial) setting only and is void if the textiles are used in what is considered to be a non-household setting, or is misused, handled improperly, or repaired by any resource other than Raíz Alpaca or its partners. Proper care and use are essential to preserving your rights under this warranty. This warranty is valid only for products purchased on or after January 30, 2025.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS

This warranty excludes all Clearance and/or Sale items (marked As-Is, Last Chance! Extra Savings or otherwise to indicate a final, non-returnable sale), as well as Sample Sales and Limited Releases. In addition, all Rugs, Pet Accessories, Bedding and other items not specifically listed above are not warranted.

This Limited Warranty is given as an exclusive warranty and exclusive remedy, and no other warranties, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose or purposes are made, and any such warranties are expressly disclaimed. There are no warranties which extend beyond the description contained in this warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Raíz Alpaca hereby disclaims all liability for damages based on negligence and strict product liability. This warranty is extended to the Purchaser alone and no others, is non-transferable and non-assignable, and may not be enlarged in its scope by any representative, salesperson, agent, or other employee of Raíz Alpaca. This provision is a material term of this warranty and its violation or breach by Purchaser or any of Purchaser’s agents or representatives shall void and cancel this warranty for all purposes. Raíz Alpaca products are not designed for commercial use such as use in hotels, restaurants, or any other place where the public may use a product outside of a private residential setting, (unless stated otherwise in a separate legal agreement in which it is legally stated and signed by all agreeing parties outside of this limited warranty) and without limiting any other disclaimer herein, we disclaim all liability for any damages arising from such commercial use. Purchasing items online implies acceptance of this warranty by the Purchaser.
